All the slot cars displayed were created by Robert Blaschke. The slot cars were photographed using a Nikon 6006 SLR 35mm camera, with an AF-Micro 60mm f/2.8D lens. Click on the thumbnail image to view a larger version of the same image.


1934 Ford Coupe

Scale: 1:24
Chassis: Brass-rod, scratch built
Motor: 16D
Details: Short track 1960s asphalt modified. Built from an AMT 34 Ford Early Modified Kit. Paint is Tamiya metallic blue spray paint. Hand painted Cox driver. Nerf bars are fabricated from brass tube in same shape as kit parts. Pro-Track tires.

Chassis: Revell aluminum chassis
Motor: 16D
Details: Replica of car driven by Ken Miles circa 1963. Not an original slot car body kit, but a Revell Monogram reissue model kit made in to a slot car. Driver figure is from a Revell Corvette Stingray (Mr. Happy), and is hand painted. Slot car body is hand painted and hand decaled.

Details: Replica of car driven by Dickie Atwood and Jacky Ickx at the Nurburgring in 1967. Entered in the 2000 and 2002 Marconi Proxy Races. Clear lexan body airbrushed on inside.
